We went out yesterday to do some longish range plinking, so I grabbed the Striker(along with a couple rifles) and headed out. We were shooting at 749, 960, and 1389.

This is my 3 shot group at 960 with the Striker.

We got some video of the shots at 749 and 1389. The 1389 yard shots with the pistol weren't exactly pretty, but it worked. I had to dial 50 MOA in the scope, and then hold over. The scope has plenty of elevation to get to 1000 yards with a 100 yard zero, but that little 284 starts to struggle much past 1000 yards! I was getting pretty beat up by that point in the day too. This is my first trip out after I fractured my right elbow about 8 weeks ago, and my elbow was taking a beating off of the bench!

Wow nice shooting
the bullet must have pretty slow before impact. There is hardly any damage to the rock.
Did u climb all the up the rock for the pic?

It's a pretty solid rock. The hit just to the right of my group came from a 300gr MK out of a 338 Edge to give you a comparison. Plus the 168 Bergers are only moving about 1600 fps at that point. Just off the right side of the picture you can see a partial impact from a 350 grain Sierra MK out of my 375 BME at 3050 fps at the muzzle. Those do some pretty significant damage. They are still going over 2030 fps and packing more than 2x the mass of the 168s out of the 284. You can't miss an impact from one of those!

The rock in the picture isn't too hard to get to. We drive to the other side of the valley and then walk about 1/2 mile to an old quarry at the end of a ditched off road. It works out pretty well.

The longer shots in the videos are on rock faces that we couldn't get to without some serious climbing gear. I'm too lazy to even try!
