When my new barrel arrives for my Model 12 Benchrest, I am not going to disassemble the bolt either. I had no trouble at all setting the headspace on the .308, I suspect it will be as easy on the 6mm BR.

I just sent you this one I shot yesterday at 300 yards. Rifle is a Savage 10FCP HS Precision with a Criterion 28" .308 bull barrel. 4 in one hole, and a slight flyer (the flyer was the fifth round, I crumbled under the pressure). The group measures 1.045" (0.333 MOA) including the flyer. The load was Lapua brass, Federal 210M primers, Vihtavuori N150 powder, Lapua 167g Scenar bullets.

I am very very happy with this barrel!
