Which older type do you mean? Long action? Short action?

You will likely need a new stock or have your stock modified for the system to work.

I'll modify my stock no worries there. It is long action 110. But it ha an odd spacing on the lugs and SSS says they do not have anything for it. Looks like I'll go with the Tool Co. Or CDI directly

What is the spacing between the action screws?

CDI makes a Savage 110 Long Action DBM specifically for AICS-pattern 308 magazines. I have one, it works great.

CDI...period...I too have an older 110 FP Tactical in 308 with internal mag...got a Choate stock for it adn CDI inlet it and installed the DBM run it with 5 and 10 round AICS mags...about to send another to him soon...free inletting for the rest of 2014 just buy the bottom metal from him, Brownells or Midway...send in your stock...
