G'day to the community.
Ima nooby and was looking for some advice. Googled heaps, but more confused than ever !
Just purchased my 1st rifle. A Stevens 200 in .243. $300 Ozzy. LOL
It has 4.4" action spacing and 0.187 standard recoil lug made of leggo quality s@#t.
Replaced stock trigger wire with 0.041" piano wire. Made a BIG difference to pull weight but it has a fair bit of creep.
Wondering what aftermarket stocks are available for this rifle that ship to Australia under $250 AU ? (Full aluminium bedding is a MUST)
What areas need to be sanded on the bolt to improve cycling smoothness ?
Where can I purchase a S/S recoil lug ( to replace factory 0.187") that ships to Oz ?
Where can I purchase an aftermarket over sized tactical bolt handle, with a screw on interchangeable knob design ?
What is the best "factory" (grns) load for this rifle ?
Any & all advise is greatly appreciated.
