Hi all, new to the form but not shooting . I have owned and still own Savage and Stevens firearms, my first gun was a Savage single shoot 20 ga. when I was about 10 and have been a shooter ever since.
I recently purchased a model 10fp-sr in .223 for target and varmint hunting. I did all my research and from what I found it was the way to go. I have an AR as well and .223 made more sense than a .308 because I do not reload and one ammo for two rifles is a better deal for me and the fact that most of my distances are 400 yards or less.
I really have enjoyed the info so far from a very knowledgeable group and look forward to sharing my experiences as well.
