New guy to the board and to Savage shooting. Long time handgun competitor and reloader. Always wanted a .308 rifle. Years ago I had the chance to put rounds down range with a Springfield "White "Feather". It totally hooked me and I've never forgotten it. So when the opportunity appeared I picked up an Axis in .308. I now have reloading capabilities for it and am preparing to replace the trigger spring, and I haven't even shot it yet!! So my plan is to engage in some medium range shooting and probably get involved in some local competitions. So hello from Indiana.
