Like the title states, I have a Savage Hog Hunter in .308, with an EGW rail, Vortex rings and a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44. I have about 500 rounds through it.

This is my first time shooting match ammo through it, but I already know that it's capable of sub MOA groups at 100 yards with the Hornady American Whitetail ammo.

So here it is at 209 yards with the steel match. Had no issues with this ammo (30 rounds fired). Steel match shot 2 minutes low and 5 minutes left from the American Whitetail ammo zero.

Keep in mind that I'm not that great of a shooter. I do believe the gun/ammo is capable of doing better with someone more skilled.

Yes the iron sights are still on ;)

Awesome! I shoot the steel match in an Apache barreled 308 I assembled for hunting and accuracy was very close to yours at around 180 yds. I'm real impressed with the ammo, more impressed with Apache barrels. The Whitetail ammo is good stuff too. Accuracy is great and it's deadly on game.

Sorry to revive this thread but I got a chance to go back to the range today and I was able to get a better group with the ammo. I have been very impressed with this load. ALWAYS consistent, even from different lot numbers.

208 Yards was a 1.187" group (1 3/16")
109 Yards was a 0.75" group
