Why don't you just get a Savage 6 BR magazine?

I did not know these were available. AND...this is actually for a 6.5 CSS cartridge. I would think altering a .223 mag would be the way to go. Sorry I did not include this in first post. 6BR a possibility if they would work for 6.5 CSS. Where do I find them?

Thanks

The 6BR magazine is nothing more than a .223 mag with the feed lips opened up. It can be done, but it is harder than it looks. You can't simply bend them with pliars. 6BR mags can be had from Savage.

Thanks Sharpshooter. I will check with Savage.

I'm tired of single round loading in some of our matches that require 3 rounds at an UKD target and it's timed. Just an informal match and this makes it fun. Seems I am rushed with the last shot always, and the mag guys have plenty of time. 40 seconds goes by real quick when one has to walk up to the firing line figure out which target (they are mixed up) , distance, and do 3 shots into the kill zone of an animal target unsupported.
