I don't know, Finding H4350 is like trying to find Sparkling Unicorn Snot these days. If you see a can you better scoop it up right then and there because if you look away to think about it.... it will be gone to someone else lol.

Like Boots said, I just started with 25-06 loads and progressed from there, RL 17 and 19 and H4350 and H4831 are the most user friendly, although I have used Varget and CFE223 with 55,58,60gr bullets, mine is an AI version and a 12 twist but can still shoot 105s and 107gr bullets easy.

There is a good thread about this caliber, from when I first got mine, but I could not find it doing a search.

.

Of course, 240 Weatherby loading data should be fine to use.

Thanks a bunch guys!

out of curiosity, how light of bullet could i go with an 8 twist before causing problems?probably wont shoot less than 75 gr bullets though since i already has a 22-250ai that shoots 53 gr.

You can shoot any bullet you want, as long as you don't send them more than 3600 to 3800 FPS, depending on the bullet jacket 3600= 324000, RPM 3700=333000 RPM, and 3800=342000 RPM, so load until they start vaporizing,LOL

This is a photo of my target 6MM-06. This was just the break in shots, Speer 75GR. HP 3750's with it. I would have to check my reloading log.
It is a 1/8 twist this will let me shot the 105's and 107's

I started working with mine and then got sidetracked when my 6-WSM barrel arrived and have not gotten back to it. IIRC I was playing with 100gr Cor-Lokt bullets and RL22 when I had a scope failure. It was showing promise for sure. Got a new scope mounted, and weather, wife, kids, home improvement projects, auto repair, and anything else you can think of has been getting in the way of range time this last year.

Now that the rifle season has been eliminated (with no return on the horizon according to the DNR I have talked to) here in Iowa my desire to run the 100's is changing over to a Deano type of thinking and wondering about launching 70ish gr bullets at Mach IV+ speeds. Decisions, decisions.

In wonder what 55's would do?

I hope those loads are accurate, cause they are not very fast, not a slam but could not help noticing, the 55gr don't even hit 4000fps not even close, and a 243 can do that without even breathing hard.

This was with a TC Encore. I'd be worried about the thing blowing open on me with your load data Dean. I would think a bolt action is capable of higher loads more safely then a break action rifle. All this talk and I still have about a month and a half before I start building my 6.5-06 setup when I get home.:frusty:. Believe I'm going to load for 140gr VLDs and 108gr Scenars for Long Range and Varmint Matches.
