Help with Savage scope bases identification.

Was wondering if anyone was having any trouble finding scope rings that fit the bases that come on the .17 HMR Model 93R BRJ. I just bought one and can't find rings that fit. I have tried Weaver rings but they do not clamp fully as the edges are flat instead of pointed.
Any help is appreciated.

Those should be Weaver Bases that will fit the Weaver or Leupold or Burris slotted mounts which come in low, medium and high. Do not get Weaver Tactical rings because they are meant to slot into a larger diameter rail found atop assault style rifles.

I have ran into this on the last couple rifles I have purchased. Bases are to big to fit Burris signature zee rings or any ring for that matter. I have been having to buy new bases just to get a scope mounted.
