.204 Ruger in LWT

I must be getting a Savage bug I just got a 25 in .204.
What is the word on this combination? I had a 40 in .22 Hornet and it was real nice.
So I'm looking on this forum and seeing some history on the 25 favorable and not in the past. What about today? This is with a laminated stock and thumbhole.

So I bought a different scope from what I am used to, a Viper PST 2.5-10X 44mm with a story why I had to get it. I was viewing out the alley out the window of the gun shop with this scope and a woman was taking garbage out wearing short hot pants about 50 yards away. I could see more details than I expected and when I compared scopes this one really grabbed my eye. The cross wires are graduated and able to be illuminated red at the flick of a knob. Feeding is fine in this rifle. I heard there were problems with the magazine but my magazine says "revised" on it. I just need to get 30 mm Weaver Rings to mount the scope on this .204. I have only Hornady 32gr V Max. Anyone want to chime in?
