I have one in Mildot, and it is nice but the center reticle is pretty coarse for targets. (That has been pointed out here.) Is the duplex version finer in the center part? Thanks for any help.

I bought the one with the duplex reticle. The only reason that I bought it was because of the positive reviews that it got. I have it mounted on my DPMS Bull 24 and have had good luck with it so far. I've had it for at least a couple of years. I did buy the sunshade for mine as well. My brother, who usually only has Burris or Leupold scopes on his rifles, was impressed enough with mine that he bought one (w/o sunshade) for his 6mm Ruger #1V.
