Model 110C Series J

Hey everyone, my name is stephen and i am new to the forum and to owning a savage. I recently bought a model 110C series J. The rifle is in mint condition and looks like a beaut. I cannot find anything online about this rifle. Is it a good rifle? How does the button release work for the magazine?

I have the same rifle in a left hand version .30-06 and it is a great rifle. The mag release button is buried in the right side of the stock. Just press the black button in and the mag will pop out the bottom. The only problem with my rifle is that when the mag is fully loaded with four rounds, the bolt tends to ride over the cartridge unless I press up on the back of the mag. After that there is no problem, so I normally only load three rounds into the mag.
