Well I got my cleaning rod and jags today and all I can say is, they are great. I guess Dewey jags are the same as Parker Hale? Anyway they work GREAT! The rod is excellent also!

Tipton. Would not even consider switching. Wipe it after every pass.

I bought a nice Tipton rod and guide kit. Koenig need to find a good jag kit. Any recommendations?

The thing I like these jags is you wrap the patch around it instead of placing the patch over the end of the jag. Works better than I thought it would. No comparison to the other jags!

I bought the 42" pro shot stainless steel micro polished cleaning rod. I like it. Now all I have to do is find the adapter for the 17-20 cal. 5-40 thread to fit the 22 caliber 8-32 thread and to think that I put it up so I knew where it was.......:frusty:

Congrats. I would still polish the rod with some 1600 to 2000 grit. FIRST....take the sharp edge off the end of the rod that you attach all of the accessories to. There is a sharp edge....bet on it.

....and....a couple drops of 100% synthetic oil in the handle - your new cleaning rod will last...literally...a lifetime.
