I bought this barrel from a forum member,
who made this barrel?

Looking at the stamping, I say I had something to do with it...

If that's the case, nice snag!

I sold a 10" twist 30BR barrel that looked awfully similar to that one, some modified collet dies for the 30BR, and a bag full of necked up 7BR brass to a member here some time ago. I bought it used from another member and IIRC (please keep in mind I have bought and sold a few barrels so my memory is not perfect) I was told the round count was 150 or less and I only ran 50 or so through when I sold it. It shot so much like my 308 and recoil was a bout the same so I let it go to free up that action for something new. Now I only ran the 155 A-Max through it and it did well, but for me it gave me nothing my 308 didn't already do a little faster. For some reason I thought he told me it was a pac-nor barrel but like Fred said it looks like his stamping so maybe Fred built it on a Pac-Nor blank perhaps? Don't recall who I solt it to or bought it from, but if that's it, it was a nice barrel.

It would have to be a Douglas....I've never chambered any Pac Nors for a Savage.

Douglas. I knew it was a quality name brand for sure, I could be remembering Pac-Nor from something else.
