As title says above. I picked up a nice used Savage 111 30-06 and it has a heavier synthetic stock than most pre accutrigger savages I've handled. It has the adjustable brake. I got this rifle for $200 OTD at a pawn shop that was clearing wall space. Its barrel contour seems to be about like their newer "Hog Hunter" rifle. Its thicker than my Savage 110 7mag sporter barrel for sure. I measured the barrel up to the brake and it looks like a 18.5 barrel with a 2-3 inch brake. Does anyone out there have any input on these rifles? I havent got to shoot it yet.
