Hi all, Rich from New Hampshire here, new owner of a Savage Model 10PS carbine in .308 Win. Looking forward to reading the forums and seeing what people are talking about regarding the rifle I own. I picked it up based on the recommendation of my cousin who said they were the most accurate out of the box rifles right now. After doing some load development I'm pretty hopeful, things are looking tight indeed.
A bit about me, I used to do High Power competition back in the 80's using the Garand, the AR and then the M1A. My model 10 is my first bolt gun (nice not having to hunt for my brass :-). I have a Zeiss Conquest HD5 on top of it.
US Army vet, I like shooting, hiking (and even some backpacking), science in general. Also I like to stay on top of the news.
