What would you pay for a new model 99?

The model 99 was/is considered one of the best, if not the best, lever rifle ever made. What would you pay for one, if savage decided to start making me again? Of course we would expect them to be of the same quality as the best "older" 99's.

I'd gladly pay blr $'s or more.

Would love to see a lot of replies - maybe someone from savage will take notice!!!!

If you are going to pay around 1000.00 for a blr I would sure pay that for a new 99.
