Just checking in. Great forum with a ton of info. I have a 223 PC that I will be converting to a 260 rem. Figured it would make a great deer and speed goat rifle. I like the 223 but just does not pack enough punch for a hunting rifle. My boys can start using this untill they move up and then I will buy them there own rifles. I also have a 10fcp hs precision. What a tack driver. I did cut the barrel down to 18" and it is nice and balanced now and makes for a great hunting rifle.
