With my sons upcoming arrival on Monday or Tuesday of my sons Savage Rascal I decided it was time to pull out some of my old targets and beautify them so they can get so use.

I also cleared a couple paths for them in our woods.
First target on the left is AR500 and at 25yds second target on the left path is also AR500 but at 50yds and the right path is a nice rack of knock down targets at 100yds.

This was some pretty thick stuff and I had to bust out the axe to take care of a few of the bigger trees

Only complaint I have is that it's 91°and I'm sweating like a stuck pig and I still have to now the yard now.

Thanks. I can't wait to get the rascal out and let my 6yr old and his 4yr old sister get busy on some steel.
I broke out my 1953 JC Higgins Model 30 at the 100 yard plates with iron sights. Man I love that gun!

That's for sure. I tried the 100yd range out for about an hour with my 1953 JC Higgins Model 30 iron sighted and its oh so fun and such a sweet shooter

Friend of mine made a swinging tree similar to the one you have posted. His (8) rd disk were made from stainless steel. The main frame was heavy thick angle SS steel with a base that bolted to it in made from aluminum in a X configuration. Instead of the disk standing vertically, the disk layed horizontally in such a way that when hit, the disk would rotate to the other side L-R or R-L.
This tree at 25yrds out made shooting pistol competition the norm every sunday.
