Hi again, I am looking a butt plate replacement for my "perch belly" Sav 99 (I think is a 99H). The existing butt plate is a hard rubber or hard plastic plate (not metal) and has seen better days. This rubber butt plate has a nice very gradual cresent contour to its shape, but not nearly as contoured as the "L" shaped metal butt plates on the very early 99's. Also, the creasent shape is uniform and is not a complex contour like on the mid century 99's with their metal plates. The full lenght of the rubber plate is right at 4 3/4" long and abot 1 1/2" wide. The original screw holes are about 2 3/4" apart. I have seen some replacement butt plates on the market, but haven't been able to find one of this exact size. Again, thank in advance for any help.
