Model 111 lefty magazine issues

I have a 111 lefty that was originally in .338 Win Mag. I have since replaced the barrel with a Criterion in .260 AI and the stock with a laminated target type.

My question(s) is, since the feed lips on the internal magazine appear to be of different widths for the magnums and .30-06 type cartridges, do I need to change out the box and the follower? It is an F series action, staggered feed. If I need to swap those out, who has the parts? I looked at Numrich but their description is not the best.

Or, can I open up or close the feed lips on the existing box?

Go to the savage arms site and look at the savage parts finder tab and it will ask you your model and serial and then an exploded diagram will come up with both mag boxes as this rifle was made in several calibers and just order the parts which are reasonable .
