243 barrel

Hi I am looking for a 243 barrel for my Mod 12 LRP. For some reason I can't look at the classifieds? Savage won't sell me one I have to send them my gun not sure why? Any ideas where to find an original Savage barrel. thanks Bob

Why a Savage factory barrel? You can probably do much better on the after market, e.g. Shilen, Criterion, et al.

Try calling these people. He sometimes has takeoff barrels for sale and he may even be able to get what you need from Savage.
