Own a "Deadnuts" stock .243 Savage Predator Hunter 10/110 Max 1 with a Vortex PST 4x16 FFP scope. I DO NOT hand load as of yet (I plan on it in the near future, but not at this moment) this rifle will be used for Coyote hunting. What would you guys recommend to be the longest safe distance for a humane kill, and what would you recommend for a good bullet/type/weight? If you have any other mods to suggest list them up plz.

Thx...

What are you looking at hunting? I've seen yotes taken at 700 plus. I personally wouldn't go past 500 on yotes but that's just me.
I would think on deer and antelope 400-500.

I am in the process of building a 243 ai strictly for long range coyotes with 105 gr bullets. Hoping to be comfortable out to 880 yards or so. Last winter I took a yote with my 22-250 Pred Max at 650 yards. That is probably my limit with the 53 grain bullet I am shooting. I am handloading though. Even with a good factory load, I would think that a 600 yard shot wouldn't be unreasonable with the right choice of loads.
