The bolt head, breech, and barrel nut of the Mossberg Maverick look similar to those of the Axis, sort of like the Marlin rifle does. Does any one know if the can be interchanged with the Axis as well?

I think you have the Mossberg Maverick shotgun confused with another model

Nope - It is a 270 Win bolt-action rifle marked Mossberg Maverick, Eagle Pass, Texas. It has a black synthetic stock with molded-in detachable sling swivel bases. It comes with Weaver top-mount scope bases already mounted. It's safety and bolt shroud are very similar to those of a Remington 700, but the bolt head, breech, and barrel nut look very Savage110/Axis-like. The receiver bridge is flat on top like the older Savage 110s. I believe it is a modified economy version of their earlier bolt-action - which I think was/is called the Mossberg 100 or the ATR or something like that.

From searching around online I'm only seeing the Mossberg Maverick 88 Shotgun. The Mossberg 100 ATR is a bolt action rifle, but I'm going to say no to parts interchangability unless you have some close up pictures or a link to see what you're looking at.

I think this is what you're looking at. Review with lots of pictures of one particular version the Mossberg 100 ATR was sold in.

If you guys Google "Mossberg Maverick rifle" you'll see what he's talking about.

After a quick glance, it looked like they came out around 2010, but didn't look like they're still produced.

No idea if anything in interchangeable, but my money says most likely not.

Isn't it one of the Mossberg rifles that has problems with catastrophic bolt failure?
