LA or SA 223

Hey guy is there and advantages of the long action over the short in 223. I picked up a 223 fp long for the heavy barrel at a good price. just wonder whatthe difference is. They both are stager feed kind with they were not i really wanted a DBM

I built my 1/7 twist 223 on a doner long action. I fully intended to use it as a single shot bench gun. I too am loading Bergers but in the 80 grain persuasion. Seating those long "pencil stub" bullets out as far as I want poses no problems.
