Hi guys, I have a flat-top model 110 in 7mm Remington Mag that I'm considering rebarreling to .338 Win Mag. From the searching I've done, and the fact that the case dimensions are identical other that the neck, only the barrel will need to be changed, correct? The DBM is listed as the same part # for both calibres, the bolt face is the same, and the barrel threads should both be standard shank. Have I done my homework right? If not, what am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Homework is correct. Same setup except the barrel. Pull off the old, screw on the new, headspace, snug nut, good to go.

As a precaution, I would remove your front scope base, or at least back the base screws out about 1/2 way to make sure they are not interfering with the barrel threads (it happens sometimes) and you will be good to go.

Right on, thanks for the reply. I'll probably upgrade to a 1pc rail at the same time if I go ahead with it so the old bases will be off anyway. Now to find a good take-of .338 barrel here in Canada, and I might just have a small project on my hands.
