Have i missed something here?

Taking the 24" barrel off my new fcp-k so i can try the 18" 5r barrel i found, i realized that my recoil lug had no indentation to line it up when putting the rifle back together. It didn't stop the project but did make it take a little longer. Are they now using recoil lugs without the indentation or was i just the lucky one to get that on my rifle?

Was your rifle in an Accustock?

Yes it is a second gen. accustock, is there a trick i have simply missed to make putting it back together easier? Now that i think about it, it is the first fcp-k i have worked on. Thanks
