Ditch the ones from the factory. I wasted a lot of time and $$ on ammo and gas wondering why my new rifle shot like crap. Then I got on here, learned a little, and replaced the factory bases and rings with a DNZ Game Reaper. The rifle (Trophy Hunter 11 xp in .308) immediately started shooting like I would expect it to. If you're considering one of these outfits, I would recommend getting a quality base and rings setup before you start shooting. I'm sure some of the factory rigs work, but I sure wouldn't take the chance if you're like me and have to drive a ways to a proper rifle range. Once properly set up, it's great hunting rig for the price.
