Savage large shank

I was just wondering if the remington 783 uses the same barrel as a large shank savage action? Thanks!

Probably the same as any other Remington,just uses the barrel nut system.

No, the action threads in the Remington Action are different than Savages.

The Remington 783 uses the same thread pitch as the Savage Small Shank. Having said that the barrels do not swap from one brand to another due to chamber specifications.
