Open Sights or Scope on my Build?

That is awesome! Not exactly how I pictured the sights though.. I think the Hog Hunter style is going to work best

I called Savage today and they kind of laughed at me. They aren't exactly in the mood to sell the Hog Hunter sights separate from the rifle lol
So, I am going to see what they cost to get from Williams and take it from there... Couple of local guys I shoot with say to just scope it and flute the barrel...

I would like to find a Hog Hunter barrel in .223 to slap on my axis. I like the scout concept as well. It would work great for hunting in south Alabama where in live, you don't get to many shots past 80 yards
