Extended Magazine

Hey everyone, I have a savage 110 7mm Tactical. I am wanting to rebarrel to a 300 win mag or rum and want to be able to shoot 210 or so Berger bullets. The mag length is about 3.4". My question is how can i get a longer mag or will that be long enough? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that a long action is usable magazinewise on a 300RUM due to the cartridge OAL. I am unsure on 300WM, but the magwell in of itself isn't long enough for RUM and I don't believe it'd be possible to modify/change anything to make it usable outside of a single shot ype of system.

I use the AI mags on my 300 with the CDI bottom metal. The AI mags accept 3.60" reliably.
