Glady's Armory Bolt handle on B-Mag

anybody have one on theirs? been looking at them, how much do they extend down in the way of the trigger?

Both stock bolt handles on my B-Mags hit my boyds stocks on closing ( standard with Classic stock and SS HB with a thumbhole ) either Boyd's needs to cut a little more out there or Savage needs to bend it more, which I'm thinking about taking one off and to work with me to see what it looks like if I bend the handle slightly in the press.
They are going to beat the finish off the stocks if something it not done

Glady's Armory Bolt handle on theB-Mag. KYou need to take a little material out of the stock so the bold will close completely. the Glades website has a video showing what need to be done. I also believe the bend on the Glade's bolt has been modified to fix the issue. Moved mine from my steel B-Mag to the SS B-Mag and on both stocks needed to remove a little material with a dremel took to make them fit.
The Glade's Bolt handle is a good fix for the stock bolt handle.

Thanks, don't want to really mess with my boyds stocks more than I have :) didn't want to dish out $$$ either so I fixed the factory bolt tonight on both, I personally don't have a big problem with it other than it touched the stocks on both rifles. so with 2 copper plates I have for welding holes shut in metal, a round brass punch and a soft hammer I bent the bolts to clear the stocks on closing and scopes on opening the bolt. mostly didn't want the bolt sticking down by the trigger guard like it looks like the Gladys does so far down

The Glady's Armory Bmag Bolt Handle bends very easily and I bent the two I have slightly forward to better clear my trigger finger. They fit perfectly now on the two different Boyds stock I own and I didn't have to make any modifications to either stock. I sent pictures of my installed bolts to Glady's and recommended they bent their bolts slightly forward as the standard configuration. I also didn't have a "major" problem with the factory bolt handle, but the Glady's looks and feels much better.

I have the Glades handle on both my original and my SS BMags. I also had to bend my handles forward because the handle was too close to my trigger finger. They bend pretty easily.
I asked Glades to send me the handle for the SS model 'in the white'. I polished it, clearcoated it and it looks beautiful on the SS rifle, which I also polished.
Great company to deal with......

Actually, I have to thank n4ue for the idea to bend the bolt handle in the first place. Pretty sure I read a post of his somewhere where he mentioned bending it forward a little. I had already taken it off and went back to the factory bolt because it was hitting my trigger finger, but after reading your post I figured I'd give it a try as well. Looks and works great now.

So how and what did you guys use to bend it forward?

I just clamped the flat portion to a piece of heavy square tubing on some exercise equipment down the basement and then slipped a piece of pipe over the handle after wrapping a couple layers of painters tape on it to protect the finish. I'm sure a vise would be easier, but I just didn't have one available. It bends very easily. Just take your time. Bend it a little bit and then check the fit. Repeat until it looks, fits and feels good for you. I kept going until my trigger finger no longer hit the bolt handle while in my normal firing position. If you bend it too much the finish will crack, but that's no big deal. Just touch it up with a Casey Super Black flat black touch up pen.

I've bent a couple. Luckily, I have a large vise in my shop. Put some cardboard around the bolt and tapped the handle itself with a dead-blow hammer. I was surprised how easily it bent.
Great product, and it sure makes the 'cock on close' function a lot easier!
