How do I order a savage PAD recoil pad ?

I have just bought a second hand Savage 10PC 308W manufactured in 2010. Very accurate rifle. It has a camo accustock and soft (neoprene?) recoil PAD that is a little torn. How can I order the PAD from Savage ? I would prefer to just screw on a new one than have to fit something else. When I looked up the serial number on the Savage parts finder it just lets you order a whole accustock ...

Go to savage website and go to part finder, type in serial # of the rifle and a schematic should load

You should be able to order it right then but I would get the part number off the schematic and call savvage to make sure it is indeed the PAD you are wanting

As I have said already, that does not work as you cannot just click on the PAD, it is grouped together with the stock, at least on the schematic.

For the Savage pad and what it will cost you might be better off seeing if a Limbsaver will fit. Call Marcia at Limbsaver.

Just get the limbsaver. It will do equal duty and holds up better.

Would anyone happen to know the correct model number limbsaver to get for the savage synthetic stock ? Just asking in case someone has replaced their PAD and knows it fits :)
