I have a savage 111 in 7mm RUM that I'm doing a build on right now. I have everything on order except the barrel. Not sure what size shank (measured barrel nut from action to end on rifle and I got 7/8th of a inch on tape) to order or what brand. I wanted to get a Criterion but I called NSS and they didn't have anything in stock and nothing for a while. I'm to impatient to wait and want to order a pre-fit that's not gonna take forever to get. Its looking like McGowen is the only way to go right now. Can anyone fill me in on anywhere else? I'm looking for a 26" pre-fit .300 Win Mag in a Varmint or larger contour. Any suggestions? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks
