savage 10 fcpk with axis action

so more issue/question from my new savage 10 fcpk purchase from bud.
I contact savage arms, give them serial #, and they said its from axis model. does savage use axis action for their model 10 action??
since everything else look same as fcpk 24" fluted barrel, accutrigger/accustock/muzzle break etc.

I hope sharpshooter jumps in to tell you whats up.It doesn't sound right to me.It sounds like a buds store special kinda like what dicks does. They have savge build guns to their specs and don't match up well on savage parts finder.

Go to the parts finder page on the Savage website, type in the serial number and it will tell you the make/model and date/time made...that being said, the fact that the box also had a random AICS mag in it and no factory mag made me suspicious the box was opened and messed with.

Oh, and no...the 10 FCP-K isn't built on the Axis action...it's built on the 10/110 action.
