Trying to decide on this rifle. Has all the characteristics of my wants: 20" flutted/threaded, accutrigger, accustock, etc. I'm just unsure if its overpriced or not? $1k for rifle, Millet TRS-1, and bipod...what do you think? I was planning on a stock/chassis, scope, and different bipod change so maybe I'm not making a good choice as my first Savage build? I don;t want it to be an impulse buy. Or is this a ddecent deal to buy and start shooting now and then just change out stuff as needed?
What other Savages should I be looking at that has a 20" fluted heavy 5r barrel for $600-$800? Doesn't have to be threaded.
