savage 64 sent for broken trigger warranty

So got my daughter and wife a savage 64 and took it out to the range came home and we cleaned it.. as I was putting the rifle back together the trigger just snapped when I pulled the trigger. .

called savage and they are doing a warranty on it..

now we wait.. turnaround time might be 5 weeks or so... service was great so far..

hopefully since its a minor fix its sooner.

Mcarbo has 64 trigger kits on special in May. Needs an actual whole trigger, though. :-)
