Is the muzzle break on the new 10 fcp-k threaded on or pinned. I have a new one on order and thinking of adding a suppressor. If it threaded what thread. thanks

I have read they are threaded but hell to get off. I am having a thread protector made to fit mine but need to find a good smith to remove it. I don't have a shop/vise. If anyone knows the thread pitch that'd be good info, too.

This was discussed before. I think someone said that they use some sort of thread lock at the factory. A little heat might help.

Sharpshooter would know.

They use some kind of LocTite thread lock on it from the factory which is tough to get off but if you heat it till it smokes it spins off just fine. They also use a crush fit washer which i ground about 2 thousandths off so i dont have to crank it on so hard to get the brake properly aligned when i put it back on and i used Loctite green to keep it torqued on but removable to reinstall it.

Good luck, huuf
