175 VLD for hunting

I need some info on the Berger 175gr VLD for my 308. It is advertised as a hunting bullet.It looks like the 175gr SMK to me. Would it work as a long range hunting bullet for Coyotes,P-Dogs say out to 600+yds

No problem using 175gr Berger hunting bullets! On a p-dog, all you might see is a small red clould!!!!!!

I use them all the time! In fact, it's either Berger or Nossler Ballistic Tips, just depends on the distance of the target! Bergers of course for long distance, over 300yds.
