On day two of the local Appleseed Shoot this weekend, I put away my CZ 452 Special and took out my Savage Mk II FV in a Boyds Tacticool stock. I managed to shoot a 229 on one AQT and shot at least Rifleman on all the others. It was a 25m, rimfire-only event, and the line was heavily populated with Ruger 10/22s and a few other semi-autos. Still, my bolt-action Mk II showed its worth, bringing in the event's second-highest score (I shot the highest score of the weekend with my iron-sighted CZ).
