10FP internal mag to detachable

I'm new to the long range rifle crowd and recently purchased a 10FP (new 2014). My question is, can the internal magazine, be replaced with a detachable? Is a stock swap needed? Also...what is a good quality bipod for this platform? Looking to eventually have a 1000yd gun, so quality is preferred over cheap. Any info would be appreciated.

I've got the same question regarding conversion of the internal blind mag into a DBM. I called Savage and gave them my serial number and I was told it would require a stock replacement. I was also told that the only stock Savage had available was over $400 - Ouch!

I'd like to see feedback from others with more knowledge. Do you have an accustock or not?
