Savage 110L

Would anyone know when a Savage 110L with serial number of 294## would have been made?

If you look over it carefully you should be able to find an oval stamp with 1 or 2 numbers followed by a letter. If the letter is a K then it would be 1959, a L would be 1960, etc.

Most likely a 1960 but may have been a 61, my numbers jump a lot in that time period, definitely not a 62 though.
