Savage 1903,06,09 BOLT?

I purchased a Savage 1903 Pump Action .22 for a parts gun, the barrel is way past gone but the other parts are in fairly good shape. But the bolt is missing. Will the bolt from any of the other old pump action Savage or Stevens interchange with the 03,06 09 series. I know it is a long shot but I need a long shot to fix this Little Lady to shooting condition.

Nope, only the 1903 and 1909 bolts will work I believe.

Rick as Mad Dog said 1903 & 1909 bolts will work. 1914 bolts will work in a 1903 but not the other way around. There were changes in the bolts over the years so it would be best to get a complete bolt so you have to try and find all the correct parts to complete one. Extractors are almost impossible to find so I suggest not buying a bolt with that missing, or you might end up buying another bolt to get an extractor.

Thanks for the info, especially about the extractors. I guess I shall mount my trusty steed and go forth in the quest of the complete bolt or at least one that has extractors.
