i am sorry to bring this up again, but i have been searching on the links for a stock with not much luck! does anyone have available a drop in stock for a newer stevens centerfeed short action with 4.40 action screw spacing? all i am finding is the shorter spacing available.

thanks for the input fellas. found a nice bargain laminated thumbholer for the sporter at stocky's. just ordered it today and can't wait. hmmm...what to get for it next? maybe a new trigger

How did it work out for you? I got a 200 I'm wanting to updgrad, I had a fit issue with a Boyds (my fault) that was really nice. Stockys looks like a good choice from what I've read, although at nearly 2x the price.

i bought the Tundra sporter. and it fits like a glove! the stock trigger gaurd off the stevens stock didn't fit so good a little shaving and you can get it in there but i went for the metal one from sss and it fit perfectly, also picked one of his bt style bolt handles and it really looks and feels great! have yet to shoot it though, hopfully this weekend i can get some rounds through it. also made my first batch of handloads for it and can't wait to see how it does. btw that stock was only like 115$

Scott, does that stock come with holes for studs?

no studs or holes, it's a pretty basic stock but it allows you to put things where and how you want. the next grade stock which is the same but with the studs installed is quite a bit more money. i bet they will throw on a set if you ask them.
