Anyone had this issue?! Fix? Rifle is an Mod 10 FCP-SR .308. No, my fingers are not super-long. I like to use the pad of my finger near the tip and when shooting like that, the bolt handle knob touches my second knuckle and after shooting 100 rounds my finger has had it.

Just ordered one of these:

This aftermarket bolt handle is longer and threaded so hopefully the knob is past my knuckle or I can change the knob.

You need a stock with a true anshutz style pistol grip like the bobby hart stock for instance.Your hand placement wont be much better with a longer handle.

If I'm gonna go that route, I've heard the AI AX is coming out for Savage actions this year. But I'm not really into it enough to spend $500-$1500... yet...

This actually works! My finger doesn't touch it. Thank God.

Badger, funny you have mentioned this. We are working on a project that addresses this. I have about the same problem as you do with bolt handle knobs.
