Finally got the new Savage out to the range. It has the accu-stock and I put a Nikon Prostaff 4-12-40 on top of it. I used the rounds I have had already load from another gun. It was 39 BKs with 27.7 grains of Varget.
In total today I put only 20 rounds through it. But she has had 21 total so far. If it started this way, I really can't wait until she is broke in:) I think the groups would have been better if it wasn't for me.
I shot on paper, as you can see I was walking it down at 100 yards. Then I shot one at paper below my other target to see where I was at, at 200 yards. Finally shot the 6 round group at 200 yards.
I am impressed, that to me is accurate out of the box.

Gotta love these Savages. What are you using the rifle for? I assume coyotes. I have been thinking about picking one of those predators up in .204, mounting a bi-pod, and using it for a walk-around varminter.

Sorry asked for the range report today one page one, didn't see your post on page two. Was this a 223? Looks really good for the fist firing. Like that 200 yard target. Stilwater36
