243 wssm help

I started a build a while back on a 243 wssm. I really like the cartridge, used to have a model 70.

Anyway, it is a large shank Model 16, I think, and was a 270 wsm to start. Everything has gone fairly well . Got it all put together yesterday. Headspaced and ready to go. But, I am having a problem with feeding from the magazine. First one is fine, but on the others the bolt just slides over the top.

Thought I would save some time and ask for suggestions on here. Never have done any magazine adjustments before, so not sure where to start.

Try opening the feed lips a wee bit. Use some long nose pliers & stretch them open a little.
Just a little at a time.

I had a similar headache with my old 223wssm. It took about an hour to make the mag feed lips happy...
