Axis sa to la conversion possibility?

Is there a way to convert a sa to a la on axis since it has same
Basic action and what is involved

Change the trigger guard.

Don't forget to rotate the forward baffle on the bolt. One side will accommodate short, the other side for long action cartridges.

Or, buy a Boyd's stock for the long action magazine. It will make it like a whole new rifle. You'll also need a new mag. If it started as a 223, you would need a new bolt head too.

I've done it, it's easy. I ordered the new trigger guard from Savage and found a magazine on ebay, but have since put a long action Boyd's stock on it.
