Savage Model 1904- Loose bolt handle

I got an old savage model 1904 for my kids out at the farm.

It needs a few little things that I am fixing up. One of problems is the handle on the bolt is loose, so when you cock or load it, the handle shifts a little off center, and will bind if they are not careful.

I can not see how the handle is attached, there is no access pin or screw, it seems to possibly be pressed onto the bolt housing? Is there a way to tighten it?

UPDATE. I had a friend of mine with a TIG Welder tack it solid. I am going out tomorrow to test fire and see how it and the homemade firing pin work
